The stroke affected the left side of Richard's body and some of his motor skills. A full recovery is expected.

"Don't send flowers, it's way too early for that," Richard says, "but please lend a hand to Gulf Aid Acadiana (his Gulf Aid charity) if you can until I'm completely back in the saddle." We wish Zach all the best for a swift and complete recovery.

In his place, New Orleans great Coco Robicheaux will play Bilocal on Friday, November 12.

© Zee AmerNew Orleans legend Coco Robicheaux has faithfully delivered his mojo soul to devoted listeners in tiny joints and massive stages for decades. He has performed across the US and Europe, at every New Orleans French Quarter Festival since 1995, and for ten consecutive years at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Coco Robicheaux was inducted into The Louisiana Music Hall of Fame at the House of Blues in New Orleans on Oct. 24, 2009.

An actor and visual artist as well as musician, Robicheaux was featured most recently in the debut season of HBO's Treme. His bronze bust of Professor Longhair famously greets visitors at Tipitina's where it sits inside the entrance.

Robicheaux is an integral thread in New Orleans' and Louisiana fabric and heritage. He performed on the "Coast to Coast" tour to raise funds after the BP oil spill in the Gulf, and is a lifetime advocate and supporter of accessible health care.

Bilocal is deeply honored (and very excited!) to welcome Coco Robicheaux to the program on Friday November 12.
